My little man turned two today. In my blog post about the twins genders here I talked about how I was sure Levi was going to be a girl. It was definite in my mind. Then I pushed and there he was. I couldn't stop laughing and crying at the same time. "A BOY? REALLY??!"
And he has been all boy ever since. He loves dump trucks and balls. If he has a ball in hand, he will invariably find something to hit it with. Throughout the entire day today, even while the doctor was giving him his two year check up, he carried around a small ping pong paddle and a raquetball. Good luck trying to pry them from his hands too.
At two he is at the peak of his frustration with not being able to communicate clearly what he's trying to say. He's also at the peak of his cuteness because his little personality reveals itself constantly. One moment serious, and the next he's in a fit of giggles.
I love this little man so much that sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the desire to just sit and snuggle him and cover his big little head with smooches. I can't believe it's been two years since he gave me that big boy surprise.
Here's a little video of our birthday breakfast together. He loves french toast and Mark is the master chef when it comes to breakfast carbohydrates.
